James Paul Bailey
BAYTOWN, Texas – James Paul Bailey, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on Friday, Aug. 30, 2013.
He was born on Oct. 6, 1937, in Lewistown. He graduated from Lewistown High School in 1956. Jim served for four years in the United States Air Force. He was employed by a community hospital in Easton, Md., for nearly 20 years.
Jim is survived by: a brother, William Edward Bailey and wife, Arvely, of Baytown, Texas. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren, who loved and will miss Uncle Jim.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Yeager Bailey O’Donnel, his father, Paul Edward Bailey, and a sister, Francis Yeager Bailey Hughes.
Jim was nicknamed “Beetle” by his high school friends, a name fondly attached after the cartoon character. He was very well liked and will be sadly missed.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, Sept. 7, at Living Word Church, in Highland, Texas.
