Edna A. ‘Arlene’ Feltman
RICHFIELD – Edna A. “Arlene” Feltman, 73, of Richfield, entered into rest on Saturday morning, Aug. 31, 2013, at the emergency room of Sunbury Community Hospital, Sunbury.
Edna was born Aug. 11, 1940, in Mount Pleasant Mills, Washington Township, Snyder County, a daughter of the late William and Edna (Strawser) Inch.
On June 24, 1961, she married David O. Feltman, who survives. Her passing breaks a loving marital union of 52 years.
In addition to her husband, Edna is survived by: two sons, Rodney Feltman and his wife, Anne, of McAlisterville, and Matthew Feltman, of Philadelphia; two granddaughters, Michaela Feltman and Tara Feltman; four sisters, Arla Parker and her husband, Miles, of Port Trevorton, Dolly Wyland and her husband, Howard, of Carlisle, Esther Blain, of Oberlin, and Edna Sheaffer, of Mount Pleasant Mills; two brothers, Theodore Inch, of Elizabethtown, and Charles Inch and his wife, Diane, of Mount Pleasant Mills; and many nieces and nephews.
Edna was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Brouse, and five brothers, Howard, Elwood, Harvey, Jacob and Glenn Inch.
She was a graduate of Selinsgrove High School. Edna retired in 2005 from Walmart, Selinsgrove, and was formerly employed with the Richfield Shirt Factory for 36 years. She was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed canning, crocheting and word and jigsaw puzzles.
There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Brown’s United Methodist Church, 33762 state Route 35 N., McAlisterville, with Pastor Candace Arnold officiating.
The George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 9366 state Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
