Evelyn G.P. Wagner
LEWISTOWN – Evelyn G.P. Wagner, 88, of Ohesson Manor passed away early Saturday morning Aug. 24, 2013.
She was born on Aug. 5, 1925, in McClure, she was a daughter of the late Cloney and Effie J. (Arnold) Erb. She was married to William C. Wagner who preceded her in death on March 19, 1993.
Evelyn attended Beaver Vocational school.
She was a homemaker and previously worked at Snook’s Restaurant, where she was well known for her pot pie.
Evelyn was a member of St. John’s Ridge Lutheran Church in McClure.
She was also a member of the Beaver Springs Fire Department ladies auxiliary.
Surviving are: one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley J. and Keith Plummer, of Beaver Springs; three grandchildren, Jarrod Plummer, John Wagner and Cory Wagner; and several great-grandchildren.
Evelyn was preceded in death in addition to her husband by one son, James W. Wagner; one daughter, Pauline K. Wagner; one grandson, Derrick Plummer; and three brothers, Carmon, Max and Gerald Erb.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in Black Oak Ridge Cemetery, Stage Road, McClure, with Pastor Dave Pennebaker officiating.
Arrangements are by the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown.
