Charles A. Miller

REEDSVILLE – Charles A. Miller, 82, of Church Hill, Reedsville, died at 3:48 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at his residence.

Born on March 25, 1931, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Charles D. and N. Ruth (McCartney) Miller. His wife, Evelyn (Kephart) Miller, whom he married on June 6, 1953, preceded him in death on April 6, 2005.

He is survived by: his sons, Milton A. Miller, of Altoona, and Mark A. Miller, of Lewistown; six grandchildren, Rachael C. Miller, Brandi L. Harmon, Brandee M. Miller, Braiden C. Miller, Brodie A. Miller and Breayn E. Miller; and one great-grandchild, Maxwell Eric Miller.

Earlier in life, he was employed as a teacher and building principal by the Mifflin County School District, retiring on June 5, 1986.

He was a member of the National Education Association and the Pennsylvania State Education Association. He was also a member and past president of the Reedsville Lions Club.

He attended Burnham United Methodist Church.

Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in St. Marks Cemetery, Lewistown.
