Robert E. Snook
LEWISTOWN – Robert E. Snook, 88, of Golden LivingCenter-William Penn, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the center.
He was born April 16, 1925, in Lewistown, a son of the late Edward and Mabel (Black) Snook. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Milliken Snook, on Feb. 5, 1994.
Surviving are: a daughter, Linda Snook, of Texas; stepchildren, Sandra Folk, of Douglassville, John Clark, of Harrisburg, Joseph Clark, of Lewistown, and Dawn Moore, of Lewistown; sister, Dorothy Krepps, of Lewistown; brother, William Snook, of Reedsville; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James E. Snook, and a sister, Doris Dillery.
He was a member of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II. He was a painter at Lewistown Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 1987. Bob was a life member of Lewistown Elks Lodge No. 663 and was a member of City Hook and Ladder.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Barr Funeral Home Inc., 120 Logan St., Lewistown.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
