Rachel A. Leister
DANVILLE – Rachel A. Leister, 20, of 109 Faust St., Danville, died Monday, July 8, 2013, in Danville.
She was born on Feb. 13, 1993, in Lebanon, the daughter of Curtis S. Leister, of McClure, and Vickie A. (Dewalt) Hare, with whom she resided in Danville. She had resided in Danville for 13 years.
Surviving in addition to her parents are: daughter, Aunalee Sky Rothermel, 2; stepfather, Lawrence R. Hare, at home; brother, Scott H. Wintersteen; sister, Gina Marie Wintersteen; and stepbrother, Joseph Hare, all of Danville; two nephews; a number of aunts and uncles; and stepgrandparents.
She was a 2011 graduate of Danville High School, where she had been a member of the National Honor Society for several years. She was voted “most congenial” in her graduating class. She also payed softball during her school years.
Rachel was currently employed at the Dunkin Donuts shop in Danville, and had formerly been employed by Geisinger Medical Center and Quality Inn, both of Danville.
She attended Samuel’s Church, McClure.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2013, at Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville, with her pastor, the Rev. Clark Kelsey, officiating. Interment will follow in Old Fellows Cemetery, Danville.
