Joshua A. ‘Josh’ Mott

SUNBURY – Joshua A. “Josh” Mott, 30, of Richfield, met Jesus face to face, singing and dancing on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at the SUN Home Health Hospice Center, Sunbury.

Joshua was born on Nov. 1, 1982, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the son of Pastor J. Arthur and Joyce (Paige) Mott, of Richfield. He was the husband of Kristin L. (McFadden) Mott, to whom he was married almost eight years.

In addition to his wife and parents, Joshua is survived by: three children, Kosette L., James A. and Kassidee L. Mott, at home; a brother, Jason A. Mott and his wife, Kathy, of Richfield; a sister, Jocinda Mott-Rhinier and her husband, Jared, of Lexington Park, Md.; nieces and nephews; paternal grandmother, Marie F. Mott, of Hagerstown, Md.; father- in-law and mother-in-law. Timothy and Linda McFadden, of Beavertown; brothers-in-law; sisters-in- law; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

Joshua was preceded by his paternal grandfather, Joseph A. Mott Sr., and maternal grandparents, Richard and Doris Paige.

He was a 2001 graduate of East Juniata High School, attended the Lancaster Bible College and was a student of Johnson University, Knoxville, Tenn.

Joshua was employed at the college in maintenance and security. He also was formerly employed for Bingaman and Sons Lumber Company, Kreamer, Schwan’s Home Delivery and Wood-Mode, Inc., Kreamer.

He was a member of Niemond’s Independent Church, Richfield.

Josh enjoyed music, singing, and played drums and guitar with a worship band and choral group from Lancaster Bible College. He also enjoyed reading and golfing. Recently Josh did paintings and sketches.

Friends and family are invited to the visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Niemond’s Independent Church, Route 35, Richfield.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Niemond’s Independent Church, with his father, Pastor J. Arthur Mott, officiating, assisted by Pastor Bill Paige. Burial will be in Niemond’s Cemetery.
