Dennis ‘Denny’ L. Keagle
LEWISTOWN – Dennis “Denny” L. Keagle, 60, of Lewistown, died at 9:13 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2013, at Lewistown Hospital.
Born on April 1, 1953, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late William S. “Red” and Marie M. (Reigle) Keagle.
Denny is survived by: daughter, Amy Brumbaugh and husband, Seth, of Mattawana; grandchildren, Derrick, Ryleigh and Noah Brumbaugh; brother, Robert Keagle, of Lewistown; and Denny’s companion, Connie Smith, of Lewistown.
He was a 1973 graduate of Penn Highlands High School, Lewistown Campus.
Earlier in life, he worked at Riverside Wholesale, Skills, Empire Kosher and Walmart.
Denny was a member of First Church of the Brethren, Fraternal Order of Eagles, City Hook & Ladder, Brooklyn Hose Co. and was a member of Fame as a firefighter and ambulance attendant. He also served with the local fire police.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
