Marjorie E. Fryer

LEWISTOWN – Marjorie E. Fryer, 61, of Lewistown, passed away Tuesday, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 1, 1952, the daughter of Edward and Roberta (Dreese) Marks. Her husband, James Fryer Sr., preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 2002.

Marjorie is survived by: her children, Tammy Ferguson and husband, Terrance, Julie Swanger and husband, Scott, Glenn Ramsey III and wife, Melissa, James Fryer Jr. and wife, Nakiesha, all of Lewistown, and Joshua Fryer, of McClure; grandchildren, Zane Swanger, Bryn Ferguson, Cassidey Sunderland, Madison Cromley and Bryce Ramsey; and siblings, Edward Marks Jr., of Mifflintown, Ruth Ann Wagner, Roy Marks, Sandra Solt and Tina Hatter, all of Lewistown.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Marks.

Marjorie’s greatest pride was her children and her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She was a woman of faith and openly shared the message of the Lord.

Marjorie was a member of the Junction Fire Co.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at Barr Funeral Home Inc., 120 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. John S. Walters officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
