Beatrice M. Wilson

PORT ROYAL – Beatrice M. Wilson, 95, formerly of Second Street, Port Royal, died at 5:05 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.

Born Nov. 29, 1917, in Richfield, she was the daughter of the late Fleming and Ruth (Kramer) Miller. Her husband, Robert H. “Hollie” Wilson, preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1978.

She is survived by: two sons, David E. Wilson, of Lantana, Texas, and Garth M. “Tim” Wilson and wife, Jan, of Mifflin; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Having been preceded in death by an infant son, Robert Wilson Jr., and a brother, Clarence Miller, she was the last of her family.

She was retired from the former Rae-Sel Corporation, of Port Royal.

Beatrice was a member of Port Royal Lutheran Church and was a member of the women of the ELCA of the church. She enjoyed helping with the church stand during fair week.

She was involved in the cooking and baking activities at Locust Grove Retirement Village.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Charles L. Hershberger officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Nook.

A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
