Robert F. Clark

LEWISTOWN – Robert F. Clark, 86, of Lewistown died at 11:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at Ohesson Manor.

Born on March 14, 1927, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Walter F. and Esther W. (Paul) Clark.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Clark and Dorothy Richard.

Robert is survived by: his wife, Geneva ‘Jean’ (Gross) Clark, whom he married on March 29, 1946; son, Robert J. ‘Jim’ Clark and wife, Catherine R., of Lewistown; three grandchildren, Dawn M. Osborne, Christopher Clark and Matthew Clark; five great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Hannah, Mackenzie, Noah, Sylus; and three stepgreat-grandchildren, Kennith, Bradley and Spring.

He was a 1944 graduate of Lewistown High School.

Robert was owner/operator of Clark’s Hardware for 47 years, retiring in 1989.

He was a Methodist by faith.

Robert belonged to Lewistown Kiwanis, BPOE 663, life member of Brooklyn Hose and Henderson Fire Companies.

He enjoyed wood working, golf, and was a Penn State fan.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Kari Swigart officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
