Harry R. ‘Butch’ Weaver

BELLEVILLE – Harry R. “Butch” Weaver, 72, of Belleville, died at 5:53 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at his home.

Born Nov. 17, 1940, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Robert J. and Margaret (Rebuck) Weaver Dobson.

He is survived by: his wife, Anna (Shank) Weaver, whom he married on Aug. 18, 1967; his sons, Eric R. Weaver and wife, Lynne, of Burnham, Kent M. Weaver and wife, Denice, of Manheim; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Erica, Paige and Blake.

He is also survived by his siblings, Jeremiah Weaver and wife, Betty, of Lewistown, Gloria Reese and husband, Robert, of McClure, Phillip Weaver, of Belleville, Gayla Frankhouser and husband, Maurice Jr., of Lewistown, and his half brother, William Dobson, of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Kahley, Margaret Himes and Sharon Humann.

Harry was a 1958 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963.

He was employed in production control at New Holland, with 31 years of service.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Siglerville, where he was active in numerous church activities. He was a member of Belleville Fire Co. and participated in bowling in church and Senior Leagues.

His funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Siglerville, with the Rev. Janice Moody officiating. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery.

His family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham.
