Clair L. Shawver
LEWISTOWN – Clair L. Shawver, 68, died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at the Golden LivingCenter – William Penn Nursing Home.
Born May 29, 1944, in Belltown, he was a son of the late Guy W. Krepps Sr. and Elsie (Shawver) Krepps Varner.
Clair is survived by: his children, Rhonda Hernandez, of Delaware, and Timothy Lee Shawver, of Arlington, Va.; brothers, Norman E Shawver and wife, Peggy, of McClure, and Guy W. Krepps Jr., of Granville; his stepsister, Norma Jean Goss, of Lewistown; a grandchild, Willy Hernandez; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Shawver.
Clair was employed as a machine operator for the Blind Foundation in Lewistown.
He was a member of the Wagner United Methodist Church and a member of City Hook and Ladder.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Belltown Cemetery.
