Wendy Jo (Kurtz) Pannebaker

LEWISTOWN – Wendy Jo (Kurtz) Pannebaker, 51, of 341 S. Wayne St., Lewistown, died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Hershey Medical Center.

Born March 23, 1961, in Tyrone, she was a daughter of Floyd and Loretta (Cupp) Kurtz, of Allensville. Her husband, Ray Pannebaker, whom she married on March 5, 1993, survives.

Also surviving are: daughter, Samantha Stuck, of Baltimore; siblings, Cheryl Parker and husband, Rich, of McClure, Teresa Haubrick and husband, David, of Lewistown, Tammy Kurtz and son, Joseph LaChapelle, and family of Bellefonte and Columbia, Karen Raco and husband, Troy, of Pittsburgh, and Thomas Kurtz and wife, Janelle, and family, of McVeytown; and two nieces, Tabitha Lumadue and Heidi Moyer.

Wendy was a 1979 graduate of Kish High School. Following high school, she obtained her LPN and her last place of employment was at Golden LivingCenter – William Penn, Lewistown.

Wendy enjoyed cross- stitching, had a great sense of humor and will be dearly missed by her husband and family.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, at Allensville Presbyterian Church, with Pastor George Baird Jr. officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Allensville Presbyterian Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, at the church.
