Mary H. ‘Dolly’ Wolfkiel
LEWISTOWN – Mary H. “Dolly” Wolfkiel, 88, formerly of Edgewater Avenue, Lewistown, died at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Bridges at Brookline, in Mifflintown.
Born on March 22, 1925, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Stewart S. and Grace O. (Buchanan) Parr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Wolfkiel, in January 1985.
Also preceding her in death were: brother, Stewart Parr; sisters, Dorothy Richard and Pauline Schreiber; and son-in-law, Eugene Reese.
Dolly is survived by: children, Sharon Reese, Donna M. McClellan and husband, Andy, both of Lewistown, and Brian S. Wolfkiel and wife, Christine, of Burnham; grandchildren, Jeff Reese, Mark Reese and wife, Desiree, Ryan Wolfkiel and wife, Becky, Nicholas Wolfkiel and wife, Caty, and Brandy McClellan; seven great-grandchildren, Jessica Carper, Nathan, Nikole and Kennedy Reese, Anna, and Noah and Owen Wolfkiel; and two great- great-grandchildren, Patton and Edison Carper.
She was a graduate of Yeagertown High School, an antique dealer, co-owner of Old Woolen Mill Antiques, in Reedsville, past president of Mifflin/Juniata County Antique Dealers Association, a homemaker, adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed gardening.
All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
