Lydia M. Byler
BELLEVILLE – Lydia M. Byler, 81, of 54 Forest Lane, Belleville, died at 8:10 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at her residence.
Born March 13, 1931, in Belleville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Barbara Z. (Byler) Zook. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Z. Byler, in 1971, and by her second husband, John K. Byler, on Aug. 1, 2005.
Surviving are stepchildren, Mary Ann Yoder and husband, Andy, of Belleville, and Rudy J. Byler and wife, Rebecca L. (Swarey), of Belleville, and siblings, Katie Detweiler, of Belleville, Ben Y. Zook and wife, Katie, of Belleville, and Joseph C. Zook, of Belleville.
She was preceded in death by: a brother, Jonathan R. Zook; a stillborn brother; and a stepgrandchild.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish.
A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at the Sylvanus Peachey Jr. Farm, Back Mountain Road, Belleville, with Minister John Swarey officiating. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the residence.
