Delores Jean Miller
LEWISTOWN – Delores Jean Miller, 77, of 6350 Huntingdon St., Harrisburg, died at 7:03 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Golden LivingCenter-William Penn.
Born Sept. 21, 1935, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Malcolm H. and Lois P. (Powell) Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Miller, on Feb. 4, 1980, and her brother, Robert Miller.
Delores is survived by: her sons, William Miller and wife, Ellen, and Ronald Miller and wife, Suzanne, all of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Stanley Zivanovich III, Stephen Zivanovich, Elizabeth Hawkes, Ronald Miller Jr. and Tyler Miller; and great-grandchildren, Milana Miller, Vincente Miller, Dylan Woodard, Riley Hawkes, Emma Hawkes, Aidan Hawkes and Stanley R. Zivanovich IV.
She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Rose, of Pleasant Gap.
She retired from New Cumberland Army Depot, where she had been a shipping clerk.
Delores was previously a long-time member of First Baptist Church, in Lewistown.
She was a member of the Navy Memorial Club, the Moose and American Legion, in Harrisburg.
Delores loved her family, Penn State University, Joe Paterno and she was proud of being the wife of a veteran.
She enjoyed going to Hollywood Casino, Atlantic City and playing Bingo.
Her funeral service will be held at noon Friday, March 8, 2013, at Heller- Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. John Walters officiating.
Interment will be held in St. Mark’s Episcopal Cemetery, in Lewistown.
Her family will receive friends from 11 to noon Friday, at the funeral home.
