Danny Joe Dadisman

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Danny Joe Dadisman, 59, also known as “Boo” and “RawRaw”, was greeted into enteral rest by his parents, Goodloe J. and Mary J. (Humphreys) Dadisman, his older sister, Mary G. Benda, of Chattanooga, Tenn., grandparents, Tom and Neva Hughes and Stark and Mary Humphreys and an aunt, Janet Stemple, of Philippi, W.Va., on Saturday, March 2, 2013.

Danny was born Dec. 28, 1953, in Athens, Ohio.

Danny, who always considered himself to be a rose between two thorns, was preceded into heaven by his older sister and is survived by: his younger sister, Deborah L. Stroup, of Belleville; two brothers-in-law, Thomas W. Stroup, of Belleville, and John P. Benda, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two nephews: Brian P. Benda, of Brentwood, Tenn., and Scott A. Benda, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; four nieces, Kelly M. Everhart, of Tunica, Miss., Melissa A. Davis, of Camp Hill, Samantha L. Young, of Manassas, Va., and Cara J. Stafford, of Mount Home, Idaho; two great-nieces, Jocelyn M. and Sadie Rose Marie Stafford; and two great-nephews, John Aubrey Everhart and Patrick Henry Young. Danny will also be missed by several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Danny graduated from Kishacoquillas High School in 1974. He received a degree from the Pennsylvania Rehabilitation Center in furniture finishing and refinishing and from the Hiram G. Andrews Center with a degree in upholstery helper.

Danny was employed by the Juniata Association for the Blind for 15 years. Danny was an avid sports fan, especially rooting for the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns sports teams.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at West Kishacoquillas Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Michael Bailey officiating.
