William K. French
MIFFLIN – William K. French, 56, of Mifflin, died at 3:40 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at his home.
Born on Aug. 4, 1956, in Fayette Township, Juniata County, he was a son of the late J. Paul and Sarah E. (Miller) French.
Surviving are: one son, Justin P. French and his wife, Jennifer, of Mifflin; three brothers, Larry French, of North Carolina, Daryl French and his wife, Donna, of Richfield, and Thomas French and his wife, Ellen, of Oakland Mills; and he leaves behind three precious grandchildren, Gibson W. French, Julianne J. French and Olin R. French, all at home.
One brother, Norman D. French, preceded him in death in 1970.
Mr. French was employed at J.D. Eckman, Harrisburg, for more than 15 years, where he was a respected foreman.
William will be remembered for his generosity and commitment to his family’s welfare, his adventurous spirit, his sharp mind, his blunt honesty and his sense of humor. He enjoyed traveling, taking trips on his motorcycle, reading and had recently rediscovered his love of trout fishing,
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Bunkertown Church of the Brethren, Bunkertown, with Pastor Greg Jones officiating. Interment will be private.
There will be no viewing.
