Scott Corey Fultz

MIFFLINBURG – Scott Corey Fultz, 32, of Scottsdale Drive, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 22, 2013, at his home.

He was born on Feb. 2, 1981, in Lewisburg, a son of Scott E. Fultz, of Danville, and Teresa (Coreau) Rhodes, of Milton.

Surviving in addition to his parents are: one son, Demetrios Fultz, of North Carolina; his fiancee, Brenda Clark, of Mifflinburg; two sisters, Brittany Thompson, of Williamsport, and Brandy Swanger, of Mifflinburg; two brothers, Ben Fultz, of Troxelville, and Michael McCreery, of Ohio; and his maternal grandmother, Josephine Coreau, of Beavertown.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Donald Sr. and Adelaide Fultz, and his maternal grandfather, Arthur “Jack” Coreau.

Scott was a 2000 graduate of West Snyder High School.

After school he joined the Marines serving from 2001 to 2011 and two tours of duty in Iraq.

He attended Hillside Bible Church in Mifflinburg.

Scott enjoyed hiking, kayaking, hunting and fishing.

A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, at the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.
