REEDSVILLE – A funeral service will be held for Martha E. (Goss) Shreffler at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 17, at the funeral home.

LEWISTOWN – Martha E. (Goss) Shreffler, 61, of 141 Stimely Road, Lewistown, died at 2:38 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born Feb. 25, 1951, in Milroy, she was a daughter of the late Leroy C. and Betty Anna (Wieder) Goss. Her husband of 42 years, Roy W. Shreffler, survives.

Also surviving are: children, Scott Shreffler and companion, Amanda Smith, Brian Shreffler and companion, Wendy Reed, and David Shreffler and companion, Marlene Hayes, all of Lewistown; grandchildren, Dustin Swanger, Taylor Goss, Olivia Boaz, Nicholas Shreffler, Eve Rebecca Bailey, Briana Nicole Shreffler, Blaze Shreffler, Austin Reed, Kyra Manbeck and Olivia Manbeck; and siblings, Catherine Dunkle and husband, Roy, of Centre Hall, Carl C. Goss and wife, Judy, of Milroy, and Richard H. Goss and wife, Linda, of Milroy.

Martha worked very hard as secretary and bookkeeper for her husband’s interest in S&S Trash Service.

She was a member of Light Ministries, Lewistown. She was a 1969 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School.

She will be remembered for her commitment and generosity to her family’s welfare, as well as being a very sweet and loving person who touched so many lives with her outstanding personality and willingness to help anybody who needed it, even if it was just to talk, which she did very well. Her voice will be missed dearly. She loved spending time with family and friends, and made sure not to miss dancing with her sweetheart to “Unchained Melody.” God has another angel today.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with the Rev. Ronald S. Nipple officiating. Interment will be held in Salem Cemetery, Siglerville.
