Gladys ‘Sue’ M. Weader
LEWISTOWN – Gladys “Sue” M. Weader, 91, of Lewistown, and formerly of McClure, died at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Golden LivingCenter – William Penn.
Born March 2, 1921, in Mifflin County, she was a daughter of the late Harry J. and Effie J. (Romig) Bowersox.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Glen J. Weader, on Aug. 8, 2004; a son, Jack Weader, in 1981; five brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by: brothers, Clair L. Bowersox, of Enola, and Archie L. Bowersox and wife, Gloria, of Lewistown; daughter-in-law, Sally Weader; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Gladys was a member of Wagner United Methodist Church.
Early in life, she enjoyed gardening, sewing and camping. More recently, she enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles and visits from her friends and family.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Heller- Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 108 First Ave., Burnham, with Pastor Steven Swigart officiating. Interment will be held in Wagner Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday, at the funeral home.
