George A. Wagner

McCLURE – George A. Wagner, 65, of McClure, died at 1:27 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Lewistown Hospital.

Born May 19, 1947, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Ray and Verna (Shawver) Wagner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters.

Surviving are: his wife, Jayne M. (Lepley) Wagner, whom he married on Sept. 23, 1966; children, Lee Wagner and companion, Stacy Phillips, David Wagner, both of McClure, Theresa Shemory and companion, Michael Presha, of Lewistown, and Jeremy Wagner, of Huntingdon; siblings, Ray Wagner and wife, Maryann, of Lumber City, Gloria Kurtz and husband, Paul, of McVeytown, and Linda Keiser and husband, Thomas, of Lewistown; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Early in life he worked at Sitkins, later, at Metz Hatchery, and lastly was a self-employed mechanic.

Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of Heller- Hoenstine Funeral Homes Inc., 108 First Ave., Burnham.
