Debra J. ‘Deb’ Nealman
MIFFLINTOWN – Debra J. “Deb” Nealman, 54, of Mifflintown, died at 8:22 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at the Lewistown Hospital.
Born on Jan. 26, 1958, in Derry Township, Mifflin County, she was a daughter of Martha L. (Nealman) Lauver, of Port Royal, and the late Harry O. Lauver Jr.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by: three children, Melissa (Moore) Forshey and her husband, Anthony, of McClure, David C. Renninger Jr. and Steven T. Shepps, both of Mifflintown; five siblings, Vivian Beward, of Mifflin, Bryan Lauver and his wife, Marilyn, of Millerstown, Harvey Lauver and his wife, Bev, of Port Royal, Bonita Varner and her husband, Ed, of McAlisterville, and Harry Lauver III and his wife, Barbara, of Mifflintown; her loving aunt, Mary Shope; and she leaves behind three precious grandchildren, Kendal Bilger, Evan Forshey and Nathan Forshey.
One brother, John Lauver, preceded her in death.
Deb was first and foremost a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved the Enduro races at Port Royal Speedway, family picnics at Raystown Lake, camping at Cowan’s Gap and was always finding a home for stray cats and dogs.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Brown Funeral Homes Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, with Pastors Casey Hostler and Bob Landis officiating. Interment will be private.
There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service Monday, at the funeral home.
The family will provide all funeral flowers and kindly requests memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Nealman’s memory to her daughter, Melissa Forshey, 1023 Summit Road, McClure, PA 17841.
