Betty A. ‘Toot’ Isenberg

PORT ROYAL – Betty A. “Toot” Isenberg, 62, of Port Royal, died at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Lewistown Hospital.

Born Oct. 15, 1950, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Marian J. (Miller) Wilson. Her husband, William L. Isenberg, whom she married Jan. 3, 1970, survives.

Also surviving are: four children, Robert L. Isenberg and wife, Barbara, of Mifflintown, Scott P. Isenberg and wife, Stacey, of Mexico, Pa., Sarah E. Faulkner and husband, Mark, of Port Royal, and Andrew L. Isenberg and wife, Patricia, of Port Royal; siblings, Robert Wilson and wife, Lorie, of Mifflin, Alan Wilson, of Mifflintown, and Debra Swartz and husband, Fred, of McVeytown; brother-in- law, Norman “Butch” Kint and wife, Sara, of Port Royal; granddaughter, Kendra Isenberg; and stepgranddaughter, Angel Leeser.

Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and James Wilson, and by three sisters, Dorothy Kint, Susan Wilson and Carol Ruth Wilson.

She was a 1968 graduate of Juniata Joint High School, Mifflintown. Betty worked for many years at the former Juniata Garment Factory, Mifflin, and was a member of the Mifflin Fire Department.

She was an avid reader, loved to play Bingo, embroider, enjoyed flowers and collected snow globes and bells.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Kenneth R. Kitzmiller officiating. Interment will be held in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.

A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at the funeral home.
