Mt. Zion to hold

Revival services

MOUNT PLEASANT MILLS — Revival services will be held today at Mt. Zion Church. There will be guest speakers and special music. Snacks available 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. All are welcome.

Church hosts annual ham pot pie dinner

McALISTERVILLE — Good News Lutheran Brethren Church will hold its second annual ham pot pie dinner 4-7 p.m., today, across from East Juniata High School. Meals are $10 and include pot pie, cole slaw, applesauce and dessert. Quarts are $8. Proceeds benefit Juniata County Meals on Wheels.

St. John’s hosts

Reformation Recital

LEWISTOWN — St. John’s Lutheran Church will host its 28th Annual Reformation Recital at 3 p.m., Sunday. A free will offering will be collected. Refreshments will follow the recital.

Windy Hill Church to hold hymn sing

BURNHAM — Windy Hill Bible Church, 22 Windmill Hill, will hold a hymn sing at 6 p.m., Sunday. Fellowship and snacks will follow.

Church hosts Rally Day celebration

OAKLAND MILLS — A special music service by the Lebanon Valley Gospel Band is scheduled for 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Sunday at Evangelical Methodist Church of Oakland Mills. The event is part of the church’s Rally Day.

Sky family to perform Celtic Revival

BELLEVILLE — The Sky family, from Prince Edward Island, will perform their acclaimed Celtic Revival production 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday at Locust Grove Mennonite Church. The performance offers a blend of high-energy Celtic music and inspiring gospel songs.

Games, prizes feature at Light the Night

BELLEVILLE — Light the Night will be held 6-8 p.m., Oct. 31 at the community center at the former Union Elementary School, 95 N. Penn St.. There will be refreshments, games, prizes and fun for the whole family. The event is sponsored by Watts Memorial Church and Rockville Fellowship.

Quartet to perform at Bunkertown Church

McALISTERVILLE — Triumphant, will perform at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 1 at Bunkertown Church of the Brethren, 52 Bunkertown Road.

Pine Glen CMA hosts Know Mercy Band

LEWISTOWN — Know MercyBand, or KMB, will perform songs of testimony and praise beginning at 7 p.m., Nov. 2 at Pine Glen CMA Church, 1058 SR 103 N. Donations accepted at the door to benefit LIFE Youth Conference.

Church to hold

MIFFLINTOWN — First Baptist Church of Juniata County will host a clothing and household item giveaway from 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 3, in the Family Ministry Center located behind the church. Information: (717) 436-9261.

Ladies’ conference features worship

MOUNT UNION — The theme of a ladies’ conference at Grace Community Church, 212 W. Poplar St., will be Come Have Tea with King Jesus, Psalms 25:5.

The conference will be held 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 9 and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10.

A meal will be provided at 5:30 p.m. Friday and lunch will be served Saturday.

Teachings will be by Dulce De Almeida Gerath, an assistant pastor who was ordained by global ministries and for women’s healing ministries. McALISTERVILLE — Revival services will be held at 9:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. Nov. 4 and 7 p.m. Nov. 5, 6 and 7. Billy Huddleston will lead the services.

LEWISTOWN — Know Mercy Band, of KMB, will perform songs of testimony and praise beginning at 7 p.m. Nov. 4 at Calvary Bible Church, 100 Calvary Land, Lewistown.

Thanksgiving tea held at Port Royal Lutheran

PORT ROYAL — The Port Royal Community’s Annual Thanksgiving Tea will be held in the social room of Port Royal Lutheran Church at 10 a.m. Nov. 8. All are invited to join for inspiration, music and fellowship to begin the holiday season.

Fall concert features the Seger Family

McALISTERVILLE — Jeremy Goodling will host his annual fall concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 at Bunkertown Church of the brethren, 52 Bunkertown Road.

Special guest is The Seger Family from Shamokin. Also featured will be performances by Jeremy’s daughters, The Goodling Girls. Goodling will sing a selection of southern gospel and contemporary songs as well as hymns. The event is free to the public. A love offering will be accepted.

Patriotic service held at First Baptist

MIFFLINTOWN — First Baptist Church of Juniata County will hold its annual patriotic service honoring military at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 11. Guest speaker will be Chaplain (Major) Thomas Gidley, endorsed chaplain by the Conservative Baptist Association of America. He is currently serving as the chief of the department of ministry and pastoral care at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, Texas. Veterans will be honored. All are welcome.

Free movie night held at Reedsville UMC

REEDSVILLE — Free movie night will be held at 6:30 p.m., Nov. 11 at Reedsville United Methodist Church, The film will be “The Case for Christ.” Refreshments will be available.

Mosaic art class planned

REEDSVILLE — Artist Julie Snyder will teach participants how to make mosaic crosses with a story presentation to go with her art. The presentation will be held 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 17 at Church Hill United Methodist Church. Class is $20 and includes supplies and refreshments.
