Homecoming special service to be held
McCLURE – Wagner United Methodist Church, Route 522 one-half mile past the Point Store, will host a special 10 a.m. service of homecoming on Sunday.
There will be a fellowship lunch following the service.
Dennis Hetrick to be special speaker
HUNTINGDON – Dennis Hetrict will be the guest speaker at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday at the Ardenheim Independent Brethren Church, Huntingdon.

Special service of remembrance
MIFFLIN – Trinity UMC, Mifflin, will host a special service of remembrance at 6 p.m. Oct. 15.
The service is open to all who have lost babies, their extended family and friends, regardless of the type of loss they have experienced. All are welcome.
Ladies In Fellowship Together meeting
OAKLAND MILLS – Ladies in Fellowship Together will be meeting Oct. 19, from 9-11 a.m. at Lost Creek Mennonite Church.
Lift is a joy-filled time of fellowship. Childcare is provided for infants to age 5, with activities for their age group. The Lost Creek Mennonite Church is located in Oakland Mills, Juniata County. Turn at Dean’s Store off Route 35. Follow Van Wert Road for about 1.5 miles to the church.
Rally Day concerts set to be held
MIFFLINTOWN – Brothers In Grace based in south-central Pa., will perform at the 8 and 10:30 a.m. services of the First Baptist Church, Mifflintown, Oct. 23.
The music group has ministered with their unique Southern Gospel style music throughout the Mid-Atlantic region since their inception in 1994.
A potluck meal will follow the 10:30 service. Everyone is welcome.
Prophecy conference
LEWISTOWN – The public is invited to a Prophecy Conference from Oct. 23 to 25 at Evangel Baptist Church, Lewistown.
The conference will start at 7 p.m. each night. The guest speaker will be Jimmy DeYoung. No registration is required.
Special faith and healing services
McCLURE – The public is invited to a special service of faith and healing at 7 p.m., Oct. 30, at McClure First United Methodist Church, Specht Street, McClure.
Women’s weekend retreat in Mt. Union
MOUNT UNION – Join the Grace Community Church, Mount Union, for a weekend women’s retreat “A Women’s hear held by masters hand” Nov. 4-5.
The weekend starts on Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. with a potluck dinner. Bring something to share with those attending. Then on Nov. 5 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. the retreat will have speakers, testimonies and special music throughout the day ending with a dinner.

LEWISTOWN – GriefShare grief recovery seminar and support group will be meeting at Pine Glen CMA Church in Lewistown now through Dec. 22 from 6:30 t0 8:30 p.m. The church is located at 1058 SR 103 North, Lewistown.
GriefShare features nationally recognized experts on grief recovery topics. Seminar sessions include, “Is this normal”, “The Challenges of Grief”, “Grief and your relationships,” “Why?” and “Guilt and Anger.”

PORT ROYAL – Port Royal UMC and Matamoras UMC present a new Bible study series on Galatians until Christmas.
Galatians is a “Fight Song” themed book, about the Gospel. It is a strong affirmation of liberty based on grace. It is a bold attack on legalism based on works. Services begin with a Contemporary Worship service at Port Royal UMC at 8:30 a.m., a Traditional Service at Matamoras UMC at 9:30 a.m., and a Traditional Service at Port Royal UMC 10:45 a.m. Call Rev.
