¯Mifflin County Chapter of PASR luncheon meeting — noon, Sept. 20, Body and Soul Community Center, Strodes Mills. ¯Central Juniata EMS Outdoor Bash — 11 a.m., first ticket drawn at noon, CJEMS building, Mifflintown. All-you-can-eat and drink, gun raffle, silent auction, 50/50 and rip tickets. $10 donations, only 3,000 tickets sold. Raffle prizes include rifles, shotguns, crossbows and more.

¯September Coffee House — 7 p.m., Ellen Chapel Church, Lewistown. The Lazy River Band will provide the music at 7 p.m. At 8:15, the Shade Mountain Bluegrass Band will entertain. A light snack will be provided at intermission along with a coffee and iced tea. There is no charge to attend, but donations will be accepted.
