CenClear opens office in Yeagertown

YEAGERTOWN — CenClear held a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday afternoon at its new office in Yeagertown. The new location was opened in response to a recent Community Needs Assessment of Mifflin and Juniata counties that revealed a shortage of mental health professionals in the area.

CenClear’s staff of professionals can provide mental health services including mental health outpatient and intensive outpatient, family based mental health, blended case management, psychiatric and psychological service and decision support center.

The outpatient program services are tailored for individual needs with therapies including individual, group and families. Psychiatric and psychological services are also available.

The family based program is a home-based therapy, which helps children, adolescents and families with emotional and behavioral problems. This service includes a 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week crisis intervention and stabilization service.

The BCM program can help an individual with a mental health, emotional, developmental or behavior issue. Consumers will be assigned a case manager who will work with that person to access, link and coordinate services.

The DCS program furthers a partnership between a person and their psychiatrist to include the individual in the decision making process that affects their mental health. The support center is staffed by individuals who have a shared experience in the mental health system with a goal to promote self-advocacy in treatment by providing access to recovery-oriented information that will help make educated decisions regarding treatment.

CenClear offers services to all ages and keeps services confidential. CenClear accepts clients with private insurance as well as medical assistance for mental health programs and medical assistance for drug and alcohol programs. Self-referrals are accepted. Referrals for services can be made online at www.cenclear.org or by calling (717) 248-8197.
