¯Fayette Fire Co. Chinese auction — July 30-Aug. 3, Fayette fire hall, during the Fayette Community Carnival. Drawing will be held at 8 p.m. Aug. 3 in the fire hall. You do not have to be present to win. Bring an item for the local pet pantry and get one bonus ticket with the purchase of a sheet of tickers. Hours: 6-9 p.m., Thursday; 6-10 p.m., Friday; 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, and after the parade until 7:45 p.m.

¯Yeagertown Community Day — 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents invited to have a yard sale on that day. Yeagertown United Methodist Church will host the event with vendors and activities in the church parking lot. The church will also provide free hot dogs and drinks. Restrooms will be available.
