LEWISTOWN — A check was presented by FirstEnergy-Penelec Economic Development Manager JP Tambourine to Nick Felice, president of Mifflin County Industrial Development Corporation and member of Focus Central PA; Lauren Bryson, executive director of Focus Central Pennsylvania; Jennifer Myers, vice president of economic development for the Chamber of Business and Industry for Centre County and chair of Focus Central PA; and Rhonda Moore, executive director of the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce and board member of Focus Central PA.

Tambourine stated, “Our economic development team understands the challenges in attracting and retaining businesses. We are pleased to invest in Focus Central PA, who continues to support agencies like MCIDC and CBICC. Both of these groups are important to the economic strength and success in our region.”

FirstEnergy Corporation is headquartered in Akron, Ohio. Penelec, the subsidiary servicing Centre and Mifflin counties and approximately 29 other counties throughout Pennsylvania, is based in Erie.
