The 36th annual Kid Connection takes over downtown Lewistown from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The free event is known for its wide variety of activities and entertainment provided by local businesses and non-profit agencies. The targeted age is 2 to 12, although everyone is invited to attend. Entertainment on the stage begins at 9 a.m. and runs until 1:30 p.m. Scheduled to appear are: 9:15 a.m., Moonlight Spirit Squad; 9:30, Miller’s Tae Kwon Do; 10, CHIP; 10:15, Mr. Mike’s Dinorific Scientific Name Game Show; 11, Magician Richard Benninghoff; 11:30, Miller’s Tae Kwon Do; noon, Miss Central PA; 1 p.m., STAR Country Kid Karaoke. Also, be on the lookout for Buddy the Dinosaur from WPSU Penn State, and Tillie Sunshine balloon twisting.
