The meeting will be preceded by a bazaar, starting at approximately 11 a.m. Entertainment after the luncheon will be provided by Ken Longfield, who will speak about and play the dulcimer. ¯Coffee with friends–10 a.m.-1 p.m., Lack Tuscarora EMS, East Waterford. For seniors, no cost. There will be crafts, exercise, speakers and Bible study. Light lunch provided.

¯Single moms care and support group–6-8 p.m., New Life Church Cafe, 101 Beech St., Burnham. Meetings held Sept. 14-May 31. Meal served 6:30-7 p.m. Child care runs 7-8 p.m. while mothers meet in groups. Information: (717) 437-4946.

¯Fly-in, drive-in, walk-in breakfast–8-10:30 a.m., Mifflin County Airport. Sponsored by Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Chapter 518.

¯Community clothes closet–9 a.m.-noon, Big Valley Alliance Church, 40 S. Kish St., Belleville. Gently used clothing and shoes to give away to people in need, baby diapers and baby wipes also available. More information: (717) 483-6951.

¯Brick Saturday–9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Mifflin County Library, Lewistown, and Kish Branch Library, Belleville. Kids of all ages can come and play with Legos provided by the library.

¯LHS Class of 1965–11:30 a.m., Londonderry in Milroy. All classmates and spouses welcome.

¯Uncommon People meeting–1 p.m., Cora’s Creekside Tavern, Burnham. Uncommon People is a socialization group for adults with Asperger’s Syndrome, autism and other spectrum disorders. The general public is welcome.

¯Coffeehouse–7 p.m., Ellen Chapel Church, Ferguson Valley. Flipside (Grace Fala and Rhonda Swigart) will provide guitar and vocal selections. At 8:15, Richard Sleigh will entertain with a variety of harmonica, guitar and vocal selections. Snacks, coffee and iced tea will be provided. There is no charge to attend, but donations will be accepted.

Sunday, Jan. 13

¯Community soup and sandwich lunch–11 a.m.-1 p.m., McVeytown fire house. Hosted by the Boy Scout units of McVeytown. Donations will be accepted at the door. All money will support each youth’s scouting experience.

¯Roast beef dinner–11 a.m.-1 p.m., McClure Volunteer Fire Co. Meal will include roast beef, filling, mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies and assorted desserts. Cost is $19 for ages 13 and up; $5 for ages 6-12; and children under 5 eat free.

Monday, Jan. 14
