Decorate the town for the holidays

MILLERSTOWN — Millerstown will be lighting up the town again to celebrate Christmas at 7 p.m. on Saturday in the square, when the Millerstown Lions Club hold the annual Christmas Tree and Street Lighting ceremony.

The Millerstown Lions have been lighting up the town for the holiday for many years and recently acquired better LED lighting displays. This year’s tree will be multi-colored, a change from most previous years.

The ceremony will be held outside, and Christmas caroling will be held prior to flipping the switch to turn on the holiday lights, which will remain lit until after New Year.

Children should come out with their parents, as Santa Claus will visit from the North Pole and take out time to greet the children and hand out treats to all who attend.
