¯Theft–Lewistown police are investigating an incident of theft that was reported at approximately 3:27 a.m. on Oct. 9 on Pannebaker Avenue in Lewistown.

According to the report, a package was stolen off the porch of 153 Pannebaker Ave. on Oct. 5. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the LPD.

¯Theft–Lewistown police investigated an incident of theft that occurred sometime between Oct. 13 and Oct. 14 on West Fifth Street in Lewistown.

According to the report, a 16-year-old, of Burnham, stole a pair of Beats headphones valued at approximately $350 from the bedroom of another juvenile. The 16-year-old was later charged for the incident.

¯Theft–Lewistown police are investigating a series of thefts that occurred at approximately 8:05 a.m. on Oct. 16 in the 300 block of West Fifth Street in Lewistown.

According to the report, multiple thefts were made from vehicles in the area. Officers are advising residents to not leave any valuable items in their vehicles and keep them locked at all times. Anyone with information regarding the incidents is encouraged to contact the LPD.

¯Hit and run–Lewistown police are investigating a hit and run incident that occurred at approximatley 4:14 p.m. on Oct. 17 on East Hale Street and South Dorcas Street in Lewistown.

According to the report, the incident occurred near the Giant Store and the suspect vehicle is believed to be a grey Jeep Cherokee with front end damage.

¯Hit and run–Two people were charged following a hit and run incident that occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Oct. 19 on South Grand Street in Lewistown.

According to the report, Curtis Reese, 19, struck a legally parked vehicle belonging to James Price, 45. Reese received a citation for leaving the scene of the accident without notifying Price or the police. During investigation, Heather Marie Neely, 29, was also charged for violating the borough noise ordinance for playing loud music in her residence.
