Webinar to help access contracting opportunities

LEWISBURG –Businesses can get an inside view of a program that can help them gain preferential access to government contracting opportunities at a webinar cosponsored by SEDA-Council of Governments’ Procurement Technical Assistance Center.

The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Historically Underutilized Business Zone program helps businesses in areas where business development and growth is fairly limited.

In addition to covering the program and its benefits in more detail, the webinar will inform participants of HUBZones in central Pennsylvania and give tips and tricks for the application process.

The webinar is free and will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Sept. 26. Participants must register at http://ow.ly/1pJX30lCs4t.
