Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown

¯Theft–PSP Lewistown responded to an incident of retail theft that occurred at approximately 11:33 a.m. on July 2 at the Weis Markets in Walker Township, Juniata County.

According to the report, Amanda Lera Gregg, 40, reportedly attempted to steal cornbread, water guns and a backpack from the store. She was subsequently taken into custody.

¯Act 64–One man was charged for drug possession following an incident that occurred at approximately 10:31 p.m. on July 5 on Electric Ave. in Derry Township, Mifflin County.

According to the report, Elijah Reid Keeler, 18, of Reedsville, was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

¯Theft–PSP Lewistown are investigating an incident of theft that occurred sometime between July 24 and July 28 in Wayne Township, Mifflin County.

According to the report, Paul Kuhns, 31, of Orbisonia, reported that his horse trailer was stolen.

¯Theft–PSP Lewistown are investigating an incident of theft that occurred sometime between July 26 and July 30 in Juniata Terrace, Mifflin County.

According to the report, Carly Powell, 29, of Lewistown, reported that her son’s bicycle was stolen.

¯Theft–PSP Lewistown are investigating an incident of retail theft that occurred at approximately 6:53 p.m. on July 27 at Rosewood Market in Fayette Township, Juniata County.

According to the report, an employee at the business reported that after she activated a gas pump, unknown actors stole $60 in unleaded fuel. The employee described the vehicle as a grey or silver pickup truck that fled the scene, going north. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact PSP Lewistown.

¯PFA violation–Randy Freet, 52, of Honey Grove, was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order on July 30 in Lewistown, Mifflin County.

¯Public drunkenness–One man was charged with public drunkenness following an incident that occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 1 near Strodes Mills Elementary School in Oliver Township, Mifflin County.

According to the report, Belden Hower, 53, of Lewistown, was observed stumbling, shouting obscenities and urinating in public. He was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.

¯Crash–PSP Lewistown responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:09 p.m. on Aug. 1 on Industrial Park Road in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County.

According to the report, Christopher M. Carter, 24, of Lewistown, was traveling westbound in a 2005 Chrysler Sebring. As Carter approached a red light, he failed to slow down properly causing him to slam on his brakes and slide toward another vehicle stopped at the light. Carter then reportedly jerked the wheel to the right and traveled off the roadway, striking an asphalt mound before coming to final rest. No injuries were reported, but Carter was charged for driving his vehicle at an unsafe speed.

¯Crash–PSP Lewistown responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6:15 a.m. on Aug. 2 on Beacon Lodge Road in Wayne Township, Mifflin County.

According to the report, Ronda L. Fagan, 48, of McVeytown, was traveling in a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox when she struck a deer in the roaway, causing damage to the vehicle.

¯Underage consumption–One man was charged for underage drinking following an incident that occurred at approximately 10:34 p.m. on Aug. 4 on Stoner Road in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County.

According to the report, a 19-year-old male, of Thompsontown, was found to have consumed alcohol. Charges were later filed through District Court.

¯Criminal mischief–PSP Lewistown are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime on Aug. 5 on Vanormer Road in Fayette Township, Juniata County.

According to the report, an unknown actor drove a vehicle through a yard belonging to a 57-year-old male.

Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon

¯Theft–Three people were accused of theft following an incident that occurred at approximately 2:40 p.m. on July 30 at the Walmart Supercenter in Smithfield Township, Huntingdon County.

According to the report, a 34-year-old male, of Mount Union, a 29-year-old female, of McVeytown, and a 30-year-old female, of Mapleton Depot, were accused of stealing multiple items from the supercenter.

Pennsylvania State Police Newport

¯Crash–PSP Newport responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:57 p.m. on Aug. 3 on SR 22 in Howe Township, Perry County.

According to the report, Lisa G. Ritter, 55, of Mifflintown, was traveling in a 2006 BMW 325XI when she lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The vehicle reportedly struck an embankment and rotated clockwise before overturning and rolling several times. The vehicle came to final rest in an upright position, facing north. Ritter was reported wearing her seat belt, but she sustained minor injuries to her face, left shoulder and hip and was transported to Holy Spirit Hospital for treatment. She was later cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
