The workshop provides information on different agencies that may assist unemployed workers. ¯Longaberger Basket/Thirty-One bingo event–doors open at 11:30 a.m., games begin at 1 p.m., Sept. 9, Lewistown Armory. Benefits Habitat for Humanity. Door prize, auction items and lunch available. Saturday, Sept. 1

¯Big Valley Invitational cross country track meet–9 a.m., Indian Valley Elementary School. The Rotary Club of Lewistown and Mifflin County School District to present the 45th annual meet. More than 650 school age runners from 20 schools are expected for the meet that will traverse through the school grounds. Parking assistance will be available and the public is invited to attend. ¯Cub Scout pack 6 open house–9 a.m.-2 p.m., New Life Church. Event is held during Burnham Community Day. There will be games and information.

¯Brick Saturday–9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Mifflin County Library, Lewistown, and Kish Branch Library, Belleville. Kids of all ages can come and play with Legos provided by the library.

¯Keystone State Muscle Cars weekly cruise-in–5-8:30 p.m., Milroy exit off of Route 322, across from Tom’s Service Plaza. All events are free and all cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. are welcome.
