Burnham man pleads guilty to indecent assault
LEWISTOWN — Abram Nace, 26, of Burnham, pleaded guilty Friday to one count of indecent assault, according to Mifflin County District Attorney Chris Torquato.
Nace’s trial had been scheduled for Monday.
Judge Aaron Gingrich ordered an assessment of Nace by the Sexual Offenders’ Board. Nace will be sentenced once that evaluation has been completed, according to Assistant District Attorney Mark Remy.
In July 2017, Nace was charged with one felony count of forcible rape and one felony count of sexual assault. According to court documents, in June 2017, an alleged victim told police, an Abuse Network delegate and a nurse that Nace had sexually assaulted the alleged victim during an overnight stay at his Dry Valley Road residence.
