¯Preventive health event — June 18, Lewistown Community Center. Life Line Screening will host its affordable, non-invasive and painless health screenings. ¯Driver Safety Class — noon-4:30 p.m., June 18-19, Valley View Retirement Center Chapel, Belleville. Class will be held in the chapel basement. Instructor is Nancy Simmons. Discount offered to those completing the two 4-hour classes every three years. Additional money-saving tips will be discussed. There is no test. ¯Belleville Mennonite School annual golf tournament — 9 a.m., June 29, Lewistown Country Club. Tournament is a scramble format and includes a fee of $75 per person. Fee includes round of golf, golf cart, awards, welcome package, lunch and refreshments. Hole-in-one awards include $10,000 cash and a new car. ¯Milroy United Methodist Church yard sale — 8 a.m.-1 p.m., 91 South Main St., Milroy. A popcorn sale will also be included as well as a free bottle of water.

¯Second annual missions yard sale — 8 a.m.- 2 p.m., 246 S. Main St., Milroy. Second annual missions yard sale. Free hot dogs and water. Clothing $5 per bag with lots of miscellaneous items, housewares, decorations, kitchenware and small appliances. All proceeds benefit worldwide missions in the C&MA. ¯Rip Ticket Tournament — 3 p.m., Doors Open. 5 p.m., tournament begins. Burnham Fire Department, 205 N Beech St. Drinks provided. $35 per person, benefits Burnham and Decatur Fire Departments. Tickets available from any fire company member.

¯Keystone State Muscle Cars weekly cruise in — 5-8:30 p.m., Milroy exit off of Route 322, across from Tom’s Service Plaza. All events are free and all cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. are welcome.

Sunday, June 17

¯Father’s Day Tribute — 10:45 a.m., June 17, First Baptist Church, 111 E. Third St., Lewistown. Guest Gospel Singer Tim Matthews will tell his story in song and words.

¯Father’s Day meal — 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Fayette Fire Company, McAlisterville. Buffet includes barbecue chicken and ribs. Price includes meal, drink and dessert. Eat in or take-outs available. Adult and child pricing.

¯All-you-can-eat fried chicken dinner — 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Lack Tuscarora EMS, East Waterford. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, filling, corn, coleslaw, applesauce, rolls, desserts and beverages. Cost is $12 for adults, $6 for children ages 6-12. Take-out will be available.

¯Father’s Day Car Show — noon-4 p.m., Locust Grove Retirement Village, 69 Cottage Road, Mifflin. Locust Grove and All-American Cruizers hosting 11th annual car show. Registration is free and begins at 11 a.m. All makes and models are welcome. Trophies awarded at 3 p.m. Live entertainment from noon to 3 p.m. Food and beverages available for purchase. Admission is free. Donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted for the Juniata County Food Pantry and pet food and treats for the Pet Food Pantry.

¯South Hills Music Picnic Series — grounds open at 5 p.m., begins at 6 p.m., north lawn of South Hills campus, 480 Waupelani Drive, State College. Concert will feature “Wellspring” and will offer refreshments and light picnic food for purchase. Event and parking are free.

Monday, June 18

¯Mifflin County Shrine Club meeting — dinner at 6 p.m., meeting at 7 p.m., Burnham OIP.
