Lewistown police search for suspect
Man wanted on multiple charges

LEWISTOWN –Lewistown police are currently searching for a suspect in regards to a burglary-related incident that occurred at approximately 5:06 p.m. on West Sixth St. in Lewistown.
According to a report from the Lewistown Police Department, Christopher Gahagan allegedly entered a residence on West Sixth St. and broke items in the home. The suspect also reportedly kicked a car mirror off a vehicle and called the victim on a cellphone while threatening to inflict more harm in the future.
Lewistown police witnessed Gahagan fleeing the scene upon their arrival, but were unable to locate him during a search of the area.
Gahagan is facing charges for burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and harassment as a result of the incident. A warrant for Gahagan’s arrest has been issued and anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Lewistown Police Department at 717-248-6716.
