Learn how to build a better budget by avoiding/eliminating negative revolving debt, preparing for the future, and outlining our budgeting goal. Learn methods to pay off debt. ¯Blood drive — 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Bethel AME Church, Lewistown. Free hot dog and T-shirt while supplies last.

¯McVeytown Lions Club Memorial Day parade and service — 10 a.m., parade route starts at McVeytown Public Library and ends at center of town. Service will follow end of parade. Speaker will be Nancy Simmons, retired Navy captain. In case of rain, events will be held at the McVeytown Methodist Church.

¯National Night Out Planning and Community Watch meeting — 6-7 p.m., Trinity United Methodist Church, 428 South Main St. Enter in back of building. Groups and individuals are welcome to attend. More information online at fb.com/groups/nnolewistown.
