Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown

¯Theft–PSP Lewistown investigated a theft that occurred on April 13 in Walker Township, Juniata County.

According to the report, Rick Marrow, 53, of Mifflintown, reported having his Samsung Galaxy phone stolen.

¯Crash–PSP Lewistown responded to a one vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11:34 a.m. on April 15 on Route 35 in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County.

According to the report, an unnamed operator was traveling south in a 1989 Toyota Camry LE when they struck a guiderail and left the roadway, striking an embankment. The vehicle sustained minor damage and the driver was uninjured.

Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon

¯Crash–PSP Huntingdon are investigating a fatal, three vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:35 p.m. on April 15 on William Penn Highway in Henderson Township, Huntingdon County.

Carter Brown, 19, of Mercersburg, was traveling east in a 2002 Honda Civic when he crossed into the westbound lane of travel and struck the rear, driver’s side of a 2007 Toyota Camry, operated by Brian Medellin, 44, of Harrisburg. Following impact, Medellin’s vehicle continued to travel west, striking several mailboxes and rolling over. Brown’s vehicle then struck a 2001 Toyota Camry head on, which was operated by Deborah Lukens, 62, of Lewistown.

Brown sustained serious injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene. Medellin was uninjured in the crash and Lukens was transported to JC Blair Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Pennsylvania State Police Selinsgrove

¯Crash — PSP Selinsgrove responded to a two vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:09 p.m. on April 9 on Route 522 in McClure, Snyder County.

Kyle Baxter, 29, of Lewistown, was driving in a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban when he came to a stop in the southbound lane to turn left. As Baxter came to a stop, his vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu, operated by Ephraim Peachey, 74, of McAlisterville. No injuries were reported and Peachey’s vehicle was not driveable following impact. Peachey was later charged for the crash.

¯Crash — PSP Selinsgrove responded to a two vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:55 p.m. on April 14 on Route 522 in Beaver Township, Snyder County.

According to the report, Lindsey Anderson, 30, of Beaver Springs, was driving with three child passengers when she came to a stop in her vehicle and was waiting to turn left into a driveway. While her vehicle was stopped, it was struck in the rear by a 2007 Mazda, operated by Lucas North, 30, of Reedsville, who was driving distracted with passengers Nikita Leach, 19, of Beavertown, Kevin Goss, 29, of McClure, Meagan Henderson, 21, of Lewistown, and another 17 year old passenger. No injuries were reported, but North was charged following the crash.
