Lewistown Police Department

¯DUI–Lewistown police were dispatched to South Main St. at approximately 9:30 p.m. on April 10 for a report of a DUI related incident.

According to the report, Kirsten Welch reported that Zachary Wagner took her her vehicle without permission. Wagner allegedly drive the vehicle into the parking area of 132 South Main St. When confronted by officers, it was determined that Wagner was intoxicated. Blood test results indicated that Wagner’s blood alcohol contact was above the legal limit and he was taken into custody.

¯Warrant arrest–At approximately 7:54 p.m. on April 17, Lewistown Police arrested Barbara Dubbs, 36, of Julian, due to active warrants out of Mifflin County. Dubbs was then placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.

¯Warrant arrest–One man was taken into custody following a warrant arrest that occurred at approximately 5:58 p.m. on April 18 on West Market St.

According to the report, officers found Alex Bower, 25, of Jersey Shore, in the passenger seat a Nissan Rogue vehicle. Bower was taken into custody on a felony warrant and was transported to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.

¯Crash–Lewistown police responded to single vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:47 a.m. on April 19 at the intersection of South Dorcas St. and East Charles St.

According to the report, James Kahley, 94, of Burnham, was traveling in a Dodge Caliber vehicle when he attempted to make a left turn. Kahley reportedly made the turn too wide and struck a curb, causing diabling damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Parson’s Towing and no injuries were reported.

¯Warrant service–At approximately 3:26 p.m. on April 19, Lewistown police arrested David Mallery, 30, on South Brown St. for an active warrant. Mallery was later placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
