Commission holds monthly meeting
Land development report reviewed
LEWISTOWN–The Mifflin County Planning Commission held their monthly meeting Thursday at the Mifflin County Courthouse.
During the meeting, Community Development Administrator Jim Lettiere discussed the Subdivision and Land Development Review Report, with specific emphasis on projects in Brown, Union and Wayne Townships.
The first project Lettiere discussed proposed the construction of two self-storage unit buildings with vehicle access on land belonging to Gateway Self Storage of Kishacoquillas Valley LLC In Brown Township. Access to the site will be provided through a proposed driveway on Three Cent Lane.
Additionally, a storage unit building with vehicle access will be implemented on land belonging to Troy and Marilyn Boring in Union Township and a lot addition will be made to a currently vacant building lot in Wayne Township. Reviews and comments were made to each project proposal throughout the course of the meeting.
The Mifflin County Planning Commission meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 3:30 p.m. in the Mifflin County Courthouse.
