Fultz seeks bid for 82nd District

Mifflintown candidate to run on Republican ticket

Staff reports

A local realtor announced his candidacy for state representative in Pennsylvania’s 82nd District.

Josh Fultz, 32, of Mifflintown, will be seeking the Republican nomination to fill the vacancy that will be left by current Rep. Adam Harris, who announced that he will not seek re-election.

Along with job creation, Fultz has spoken out on the need to promote an environment for children to receive the education they deserve. He is an ardent supporter of veterans and said they should be provided with benefits for their contributions.

Fultz has more than 15 years of sales experience working with both individuals and businesses. He is currently employed as a realtor in Mifflintown, where he works for Jack Gaughen Network Services Hower & Associates.

“I have established several relationships in my years working with the people and business owners in our community. Through these relationships, I understand the wants and needs of the working people as well as the businesses that they work for. One of my main goals is to create an environment where businesses will come to our district and generate jobs for the people of the 82 District,” he said.

Fultz is a 2003 graduate of Juniata High School, and later attended Shippensburg University. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Arizona State University.

Fultz is an assistant coach for the Juniata Wrestling Club’s elementary program.

He lives in Fermanagh Township with his wife Heather, daughter Elizabeth, and son Samuel.
