What’s your favorite food in the area?

LEWISTOWN — The Juniata River Valley Visitors Bureau is taking suggestions for a list of favorite local foods until Jan. 30.

The bureau will use the suggestions to create a new special interest tour, to join the 13 themed lists already created to guide people from wineries, to murals, to greenhouses and more. This spring, the Visitors Bureau will offer a list of hometown cravings.

Submissions are limited to one item from one restaurant in Mifflin or Juniata county.

To share a hometown craving, find the Juniata River Valley Visitors Bureau page on Facebook, send an email to Kasey Johnson at kjohnson@juniatarivervalley.org, or call Johnson at (717) 248-6713, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The complete collection of special interest tours are available at www.juniatarivervalley.org; paper copies are available at the Visitors Bureau at the Mifflin County Historic Courthouse, 1 W. Market St., Lewistown, and on racks at various locations in Mifflin and Juniata counties.
