Santa Claus, portrayed by Jim Barnes of Thompsontown, presents Immanuel Noble, 6, of Mifflin, with a gift Sunday at the AMVETS in Thompsontown. Barnes, who has been the Santa at the annual toy giveaway since 1960, said he continues to do this every year because he loves the kids and the look on their faces upon getting the gifts and the spirit of Christmas. The AMVETS hold fundraisers all year to buy toys for the giveaway. Page and his wife shop for all the gifts.
