Milroy man pleads guilty to corruption charges

LEWISTOWN –A Milroy man pleaded guilty on Tuesday to charges related to inappropriate contact with a minor.

Wilmer L. Kunsman, 64, will be evaluated by the Pennsylvania Sexual Offenders Assessment Board prior to sentencing.

Kunsman’s charges are stemming from a June 28, 2016 incident when a 7-year-old reported to Pinnacle Health’s Children’s Resource Center in Harrisburg that he inappropriately touched her during the winter of 2015 into 2016 at his Armagh Township residence, court documents indicate.

According to Mifflin County District Attorney’s office, Kunsman pleaded guilty before President Judge David W. Barron to charges of indecent assault and corruption of minors.

Seven related charges that were filed in 2016 were dismissed and bail was posted in May.
