Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown

¯Criminal mischief — 9:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m. — May 10 — Derek Oberlin, 29 of Port Royal, reported a picture in his vehicle was being ripped and received unwanted text messages from an unknown person at Walker’s Wood Products in Mifflintown Borough.

¯Criminal trespass/disorderly conduct — 9:39 p.m. — May 13 — Austin Vargas, 20 of Burnham, Brock Specht, 20, Dustin Snook, 19, Taylor Gilkey, 22 all of Lewistown, and Todd Breon Jr., 23 of McClure, are all accused of parking at the Mifflin County Christian Academy and contacting one another via the school’s security camera. All of the accused were criminally trespassing and two of the accused urinated on the school property. Citations were filed through District Court.

¯Crash –5:25 a.m. — May 17 — An accident occurred on U.S. Highway 522, as Sarah Winners, 35 of McClure, hit the car of Christopher Swigart, 48, of McClure. Winners attempted to pass Swigart, whom was making a left turn, resulting in Winners striking Swigart. Neither person was injured, and Winners was charger with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

¯Harassment — 11:40 a.m. — May 17 — A verbal altercation at 9448 Route 74 south, in Tuscarora Township, turned physical for a victim and accused who withheld their names. Both persons were cited for harassment through district court.

¯Fleeing/eluding — 1:28 p.m. — May 18 — Michael Smith, 20 of Mifflintown Borough, failed to yield to a marked PSP unit on the William Penn Highway, which resulted in a pursuit. Smith was taken into custody and charged accordingly.

¯Crash — 9:21 pm. — May 19 –Jacqueline Anders, 44, of McClure, was pulling out of Summit Drive north on U.S. Highway 522, when she lost control due to a small amount of cinders on the road. Anders was transported to Evangelical Community Hospital for a suspected serious injury.

¯Disorderly conduct — May 19-May26- Eric Wagner, 47, of Lewistown was accused of sending obscene and unnecessary comments to the victim. The victim repeatedly asked the accused to stop sending messages but the accused continued.

¯Crash — 12:20 p.m. — May 20 — An accident occurred on Water Avenue in Fayette Township, as Jenna Bryner, 25, of McAlisterville, struck Myles Adams, 64, of Port Royal, in a head on collision. Bryner was attempting to navigate a left curve when she traveled into the path of Adams, striking his car. Bryner was cited with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

¯Harassment — 2:42 p.m. — May 21 — A domestic argument became physical, at 3253 William Penn Highway in Fermanagh Township. Both accused parties were cited.

¯Theft — 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. — May 22-May 23 — A theft occurred near Poplar Road in Wayne Township. Jesse Horn, 71, of Newton Hamilton, reported a golf cart was stolen from his property. The golf cart was recovered on June 3 on the property of a nearby neighbor and returned to the owner. This investigation is ongoing.

¯Endangering welfare to children — 8:30 a.m. — May 25 — Kennith Burda, 33, of Honey Grove, was accused of endangering the welfare of a child at Route 35 south, in Tuscarora Township, by violating the duty of care, protection or support.

¯Crash — 2:54 p.m. — May 25 — An accident occurred off a roadway network in Fermanagh Township as unit one attempted to back out of a parking space striking unit two in the process. Unit one fled the scene.

¯ Criminal mischief — Unknown — May 17 — An unknown suspect slashed two tires on a parked vehicle along 416 N. Shaver St. in Mount Union Borough.

Pennsylvania State Police Rockview

¯ Scattering rubbish — 8:10 p.m. — May 26 — A 47 years-old female and a 50 years-old male, both from Bellefonte, dumped trash and broken furniture at Centre Peace at 3047 Benner Pike, in Benner Township. This incident is still under

investigation.
